Hello, my name is Jana Rader. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, having earned my master’s degree from Fordham University in 2005. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be in the therapeutic helping profession-this has always felt natural to me, like something I was born to do.
My passion and experience lie in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions. I have multiple years of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatric settings, as well as outpatient and residential care. I have extensive experience supporting individuals presenting with a wide range of diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, addiction, and eating disorders. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, collaborative problem solving, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
As a therapist, I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I believe in meeting each person where they are and honoring their unique experiences, helping them feel empowered to express their authentic selves. Together, we work through challenges, build resilience, and support meaningful growth at a pace that feels right for each person.
